With HOMESTEAD PHOTOGRAPHS Sarah Wilson offers a unique blend of environmental, portrait, and landscape photography telling the story of the people and places that define your legacy. Using her artistic and documentary skills, Sarah serves HOMESTEAD clients by capturing the living soul of a landscape, a family ranch, a hometown, a business, or a moment in time. These heirlooms transfer the authentic spirit of a family and a place from one generation to the next.

One of Sarah’s greatest inspirations is a yearning to revisit her family’s own lost homestead overlooking Lake Travis: the swimming dock in the middle of their private cove, the green & orange towels drying on the line, the living room shelves of world-travel souvenirs, her grandmother, victorious in white Keds on the badminton court, and her grandfather hip-deep in overgrown tomato plants. Pre-occuppied with the spoils of summertime, Sarah wasn’t thinking about documentary photographs and leatherbound books back then…
